About IDS:

Institute for Development Solutions, Inc. (IDS) is a public nonprofit organization committed to the improvement of low income communities. IDS’s mission is to enhance community’s capabilities, to improve living standards and raise productive capacity especially through education, training and communal activities.

We work with individuals and communities to develop main ingredients for a healthy and lively society. We believe that rural and urban areas are interconnected such that building stronger and healthier communities means building a stronger and healthier nation as well as stronger and healthier society.

No community has enough of everything and no community lacks everything. Therefore, it is important to make good use of what is available and develop the community. Rural and poor communities have resources and capacities to produce strong, important and sustainable future.
